This is my zombie OC, Kyara Nightshade. She's evolved a bit of the years, but this is the latest incarnation of her. She's great fun to draw, and I have lots of plans for her in the future! This was created as she needed a re-design on her face and hair, but it doesn't show the all-important bite wound she normally sports. That was the initial source of infection.

They call me The Wild Rose
But my name was Eliza Day
Why they call me it I do not know
For my name was Eliza Day
Inspired by the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds song, Where the Wild Roses Grow, featuring Kylie Minogue. I wanted to make the ghost appear as haunting and sad as the song is. She had to almost glow on the piece.

Kyara's older look, complete with dreads! Love the top hat though. :) I need to do another full size one of her again, she's too much fun! She might be a bit thin here, but she is a zombie, and suffers from a bit of desiccation.

The beginning of Kyara's redesign. I kind of like the ponytail, but I wasn't sure about the heavy anime influence on her. This is one of my very few not child friendly pieces.
